Guest guest Posted September 7, 2004 Report Share Posted September 7, 2004 Did anyone experience this (people being nicer, showing more respect, etc) and how did you feel about it? , I never noticed that except for when I felt really good about myself, then I noticed people watching me walk by, both men and women. Or maybe it is my imagination. However, I have heard others say what you are saying, and that it bothered some of them. Made them sad or mad. Now people stare at me for being in Home Depot in a denim mini, dangling earrings and heels, lol. You crack me up with the boob comment because I just saw myself in the mirror as I pulled a jammie top on and I was reminded of that old teacher on South Park, the one whose boobs stick out under her shirts because she doesn't wear a bra. lol Marta grateful to for the uplift! They don't respect people who are overweight and for other reasons too. Sometimes women are predudiced against or if you are of different ethnicity. It is weird to have them be nicer to me.
