Guest guest
Recently printed in the Barrie Advance Newspaper was the following article: TASCONA WANTS PROMISE KEPT Barrie - Simcoe - Bradford MPP Joe Tascona wants the Premier and the Liberal government to move ahead with a promise to support children in need of autistic treatment. " In a letter written to parents before the election, Dalton McGuinty described the current cut off age as 'unfair and discriminatory,' Tascona said. " It has been over 60 days since the premier has been in office. It is time for him to keep his promise to these families who are suffering. " Currently, only autistic children under the age of six are entitled to government sponsored intensive behavioural intervention treatment. --------------------------------------- MPP Tascona, who is from the Barrie/Simcoe/Bradford area has sent out form letters to any of his constituents that have contacted him in the past year regarding the need for improved funding for IBI.
