I have seen tons of people die. It is like a change occurs in their face and they go from being an annimated person to an inannimate object. You don't have to know they die they just look different. Once I was present with another nurse when a lady died. She was older and alone from a nursing home. Anita said that in some cultures the soul is believed to exit through the mouth. She said that she believed that by watching some people die. I never saw anything like that but it is so weird..... no fanfare, no hoopla...your there one minute and then the next your gone. I never minded working the terminal unit because most were old and alone. I always hoped if I were in that situation someone would care for me and assist me to an easier death. I know this is much more than You planned on getting back....LOL.
