I can totally understand that Sharon.. our pets become like our children,, and we as their parent have a responsibility to never allow them to suffer.. they can't tell us what is going on with them, so its hard. Im just dreading when the time comes for my codydog.. but Im going to enjoy the next few years as best I can,, or however long he has,, but I will not let him suffer,, never, he's been the BEST of the BEST of the dogs I've ever had.. I understand your pain Dorothy,, but if you've any faith at all, remember then, your Toro will be waiting on the other side for you!I hope you are doing better now!hugsjaxSHARON CROSBY wrote: It killed my soul to have my Toro, a little Pom male, put down, but he was suspected of having a brain tumor, with one eye getting bigger than the other and was in pain, so I did it. Couldn't drive the hour home from the vets, had to pull over and cry some first. Sharon in NW Washington Knitting is...time and love made tangible. Alison Hyde

Re: Im sorry for my recent absence You're like me hon,, we love our animals and would hate to put them down, but will not let them suffer,, I have always believed that to have a dog comes with THAT responsibility!Sheena <mom4possums2002> wrote: I know you wouldn't, had to let our last old dog go in December., She was found to have cancer throughout, I couldn't let her suffer..
