Hi all sorry I have not been on much but I have been in a lot of pain

and now Joint pain and My question is does anyone else have joint pain

along with the EN. I have been on prednisone for awhile now so my

lumps are almost gone my dosage was being lowered until the joint pain

now I had to go back on it and my knees and ankle feel better but I

was wondering if anyone else has this problem. Thanks for reading and

your time. Shins up All of you take care.

Dear Roisalie and ,

Many who have EN also experience joint pain. It is part of what is

called the " EN syndrome " . And of those who have joint pain, quite a

few are susequently diagnosed with arthritis. That is why it is good

to go to a rheumatologist to check it out, as you did lie. I am

one who doesn't have any joint pain with EN either in or out of

remission. I take that to mean my EN is due to an allergic reaction

and not an autoimmune one, but this only a guess as no research has

been done to study this to my best knowledge.

Shins up, Everyone,

Love,

Hi ,

I had joint pain so severe I could hardly stand.I took steroids and Celebrex. The Celebrex seemed to help alot but then there was a big thing about it so my Dr said to stop taking it. I had been symptom free for a few months but now my joint pain has returned, knees, ankles, elbows, & sometimes my toes. I now have to go back to the rheumatoligist.
