help! morphine injection into knee- tomorrow

I went to my pain doc today and I've been in terrible pain with my knees

lately (13 surgeries age 27 due to chrondromalacia patella). he wants to do

morphine injections into my knee tomorrow. He wants me to have a driver

because sometimes they can go systemically he said. If ANYONE has had morphine

injected into a joint and can share any experiences, what it feels like, what

you feel like,etc, I would appreciate it. I hope it doesn't hurt too bad I get

so nervous.. Margaret NC
