Guest guest
My late nada her birthday was on december 25, so she was a 'Christ- Child'. At the time that I was about 8yo I had bought for her birthday, (from the savings over a long time of the little money that I had earned by helping the milkman on saturdays, pocket-money have I never got and was even unknown) a new iron, that she needed. After I had given this present to her, my brothers and sisters reacted very jealous. It appeared however that my nada became by that not angry with my brothers and sisters but with me. She shouted in the presence of the whole family against me: " you are not my child any more. " Nobody protested against nada. As a little boy I ofcourse didn't know what I had doing wrong and was very confused, but no one paid attention to me. How could I, at that time, know that my mother was a 'nada': a 'Christmas-Child-Borderline-Personality' ? Remarkable that such events you will never forget. Merry Christmas everone Gerard
