Hi -

I am listening to Kosmic Consciousness - a ten cd interview of Ken

Wilbur and I am on cd #7.

As Ken shares his noticings, granted he is making all these

connections that are sporadically interesting - but basically I don't

see him as helpful in the undoing process. I was surprised by your

hearty endorsement. For me Ken is just a storyteller.

Isn't it wonderful that there are so many different keys to that door!

Blessings- Jan

Hi Jan,

You know, you may be right about Ken. I read the book, No Boundary many

years ago and at the time felt that it was the best thing I'd ever read.

Most of the time since then he has occurred to me as over my head, or so

intellectual that I get lost easily. I figured that this was a deficiency in

me. There is one more current book by him that I loved. It was originally a

magazine article and is now the last chapter in a book called Grace & Grit,

which is about his wife, Treya's experience with cancer and subsequent

death. It is one of the most powerful and heart-moving things I have EVER

read. I can't get through it without blubbering. I must admit I haven't read

the whole book, but the last chapter is phenomenal. :o)

As for myself I'm enjoying You Are That by Gangaji currently. A friend whose

read both says that it is kind of like I Am That by Nisargadata Maharaj only

shorter.

Bye for now,
