My son is 10.5 months and had never had a fever. His first tooth came in at 6

months and totally surprised me. He's only had 2 colds and no fever. On

Saturday night he was burning up. Gave him Tylenol. I was scared because we

(docs) had discussed that he might never have fevers. It is a new experience.

In my opinion a good one because fevers can be good, but I still worry. I am

assuming it is teething, but don't want to overlook anything. Today, he woke up

with the fever and cried all morning. I started alternating Tylenol and

ibuprofen. He liked the teething ring and a little oragel calmed him down. At

least I think so or he was tired from the fever and crying. He was having

twitches ( very short seizures 1-5 secs) and spasms. He slept from 12-5 pm. He

has been tired and irritable all day. I think it is a combo of seizure/spasms,

reflux and teething. This evening he is so weak he does not react to the

spasms that usually make him cry. He doesn't have any cold or flu symptoms

other than fever and tired.

I am throwing this out there just in case we are overlooking something. We

start his ketogenic diet tomorrow, so he will see his team of doctors. However,

I have discovered that the group knows so much more than most doctors. Some of

the docs have had little experience with pmg. I welcome all of your input.

Thanks, Julissa
