Friends,

My appitie is returning and clench fists are subsiding and even if

I am only validating my own feelings so be it. Although I am paying to

feel a little better I still have pain, the same pain that I wanted

more oxy to fight. I will just have to get used to that pain until the

nerve dies or heals. My Cobra expired and I will have a year of no

insurance so I am measuring what is working. Another observation, my

foots swelling has gone down without oxy, why not since I am not so

numb as to step so hard on it any more.

I trust my doctor but she trusts the drug companies and I don't

trust drug dealers. This withdrawl is nothing like Paxil which was

like permanent brain damage. I long for my old self, well intentioned

the doctor was making me an addict, a slack jawed druggie. I'm sorry. Al

Ah, another person who went through Paxil withdrawal. It took me 3 months to

wean myself off it and when I went off the last 2.5 mg, I spent a whole week in

bed, convinced my brain had shrunk away from my skull. I have never experienced

anything worse than Paxil withdrawal! I went through horrific personality

changes and became a total paranoid raving witch.

I wonder if you've looked into Medicaid. It's available to people

who are disabled who are low-income. Also, your area may have a good

local clinic that will take people without any health insurance. I

was just thinking that you could have other problems that need

medical attention during that year.

Good luck!
