Guest guest
I am really baffled now my free T3 is over range and my free T4 is still low 3 months ago, both were low with the free T4 being below range at this time (3 months ago) i was on the cra**y compounded thyroid Now I am on armour which has been increased to 3.5 gr daily. Is it the T4 that converts to T3 or vice versa - can't keep it straght... I can't figure out what would cause this problem one caveat: I forgot and took my thyroid the morning of my blood draw this time which was about noon. I will post labs later than ks much steph
Guest guest
Free t4 1.0 range 0.8-1.8Tsh 02 range .40-4 50Free t3 504 range 230-420Yes I did take my thyroid early. So that's proSent from my iPhone If you took your thyroid between two and five hours before the blood draw, your T3 levels represent a spike. A Free T3 greatly over range is to be expected and is of no significance. Your Free T4 numbers probably also represent a spike. If you would like to post your actual results together with the reference ranges and the exact name of each test, we may be able to make some suggestions. Make sure that your doc knows when you took your thyroid, so she does not reduce your dose. We have seen that some folks who cannot get their Free T4 up on Armour or Naturethroid are able to do so very nicely on ERFA. I seem to remember that you never did well when adding synthetic T4 to Armour. >> > I am really baffled> now my free T3 is over range and my free T4 is still low> 3 months ago, both were low with the free T4 being below range> at this time (3 months ago) i was on the cra**y compounded thyroid> Now I am on armour which has been increased to 3.5 gr daily.> > Is it the T4 that converts to T3 or vice versa - can't keep it straght...> > I can't figure out what would cause this problem> > one caveat: I forgot and took my thyroid the morning of my blood draw this time which was about noon.> > I will post labs later> > than ks much> > steph>
