Guest guest
My son is 11months and constantly cranky. He prefers not to be moved and PT is almost impossible. He has been through so much this past month. He just started the ketogenic formula diet and it is helping his seizures. He is on many meds and starting to come off some. He is on pheno, klonopin, trileptal, topomax, B6 and prilosec. He has an NG tube and will probably get a permanent tube next month. In addition, he should get teeth any minute. There is so much going on I can't tell what is bothering him so much. I hate to see him so unhappy. Is it teething, the tube, reflux or effects of the meds? He has been sleepy and fighting the sleep during the morning. He has been sleeping 10-14 hrs a day. I don't think it is enough, so I have been trying to encourage him to sleep more. Getting him in a routine has been hard due to all the time in the hospital this past month. He sleeps well at night (usually 10-7), but every night he wakes up at 4 and wants to sleep with me. I am having a hard time breaking this habit. He screams so loud that he wakes up my other son, so it has become easier just to go with it. Any input will be appreciated. Thanks, Julissa Sent from my iPad
