When I went to the dermatologist - 3 years after I was diagnosed and many years after the initial onset - she told me that as much damage as the EN has done, there is no way she could do a biopsy and expect the wound to heal. It would look nasty and deformed and may even get infected. So maybe its a good thing you've caught it earlier than I. That's the only thing she did/said. I haven't been back since.

Hi Jan and Group,We have a Database at the Group site that lists meds and treatments used by our members. You might wish to read it to see the wide variety of EN treatments and their effectiveness .Members who haven't yet added their info, please click on "Add Record" to post to the Database. Click on "Add Record" again when you are finished. If you can't access the Database or get it to work, just send me your answers and I'll enter your info.Love, idiopathic EN '68
