Guest guest Posted May 6, 2008 Report Share Posted May 6, 2008 The Organic Acid Test for my son showed an extremely high lactic acid (1220) and the maximum ref. value is 100!! The DAN doctor told me it may result from Candida. But I read on the internet that high values of lactic acid may indicate low oxygen in blood, and people with low oxygen are always tired and there immune systems are compromised. My son usually breathes in a strange way. He holds his breath for a while when he is inhaling! Also, he is always tired and sleepy. Does that mean he is not having enough oxygen?
