Guest guest
nO no no you DON'T want it to float. floating means you aren't digesting fats, sinking is what you want. the poop you just discribed sounds like massive yeast. yellow fluffy, frothy ect Pooop question........ new here Hi, we are new here.My son has been GFCF since last summer. Diet, codliver, and epsom salt gave us a new wee man. Normal, with a bit of a language delay that is always improving daily it seems... until the infractions.Anyways, we had two infractions within the past month. He was tested for yeast after the first one, and it was fine. But yesterday he pooped a yellow, spongy, mucous covered lump. We actually photographed it and delivered the picture to doctor today.I have a couple of questions since we are new to the "debeasting" of such things. First.... he has a field trip coming this Thursday. It will be the last time he ever rides on a school bus as next year he will be at a private school that doesn't have them. He lovesssssss the bus!!!! So, I don't want to try anything on him that would cuase a bathroom problem before then. How long does it take for probiotics, anti fungs... to work? Do you keep the kids home at times like this?Second... His last infraction was two weeks ago this Wednesday.. (on vacation) Does it take that long for these things to grow and show signs when pooped out?His poop hasn't looked like that since last summer. STill.......... his poop has never floated and DR. Oz says it should. What say you oh, wise ones?Best regards,Marcia No virus found in this incoming message.Checked by AVG. Guest guest
My DAN told me to increase my son's omegas until his poops were oily and floated. That said, DAN also told me porous poops can mean bacteria. So I think floaters that look good (logs, no undigested food, no pores) are okay. Just my interpretation. -----Original Message-----From: mb12 valtrex [mailto:mb12 valtrex ]On Behalf Of Cheryl LowranceSent: Monday, May 12, 2008 7:36 PMTo: mb12 valtrex Subject: Re: Pooop question........ new here What?!? Guest guest
Malabsorption of fats I believe. Add more CLO to the supplement list and other omegas too. Guest guest
Poops should not float. They should be well formed, brownish in color and should sink. What you described sounds like a yeasty poop to me. You'll need to stop sugar & fruits, start probiotics, and add anti-fungals. If he doesn't have any diarrhea issues, you might want to start treatment after the field trip just to be on the safe side as he might regress a bit initially from all the die-off symptoms. > > Hi, we are new here. > My son has been GFCF since last summer.
