Guest guest
I tried the SpeechTeach CdROM that Jenn recommended. There is a 14 day trial period, which I took advantage of. Well....Sam LOVES it! OMG, he is so turned on by the lady who does the questions and rewards. He anticipates her questions, and tries to anticipate her reward statement. For a whole day after he went around with much increased echoing, attention to us. It is kind of on the cusp of something he's going to be beyond soon, but it has such a high EO for him, we're getting it, just to reward him. He actually spent 53 minutes on one sitting with it yesterday, and I made him stop. Another time yesterday, he spent 30 minutes on it. I think it would actually be a good way to demonstrate to people how to do DTT. I have a friend in CA who ordered it about the same time I did (I mentioned it to her). She is as pleased as I am. Her little boy is not quite as verbal as Sam. Anyway, lol, I sound like a sales pitch. But it is very exciting to see Sam turned on so much by this. likes it, but not as much. He doesn't have the same attention span. But he would go by and start echoing us while we were doing it. Oh, it's at www.7gt.com Naomi, mom to Sam (4yo, autism) and (2yo, kinda NT, some speech delay) Check out Sam's Autism Page http://sam26847.tripod.com " Sometimes the heart sees what is invisible to the eye. Guest guest
I am trying this one now. Unfortunately it does not seem too popular with my little guy. (2.7 years old) However, this simple program is trilling for him: http://babytoy.quicksnooker.com/ Ross Kalamazoo, MI [ ] SpeechTeach > I tried the SpeechTeach CdROM that Jenn recommended.
