Guest guest
You might want to ask your doc for a lower dose. It is important to have all of your hormone levels checked after 6-8 weeks on it. Progesterone is a prohormone which converts to other hormones, including cortisol and estrogen. Hypo/hashi folks are notorious for converting hormones in atypical ways. Did your doctor recommend the products you used for adrenal fatigue? We do not recommend self-medication. >> > I started taking armour for hypothyroid last January (08) and am now comfortably on 2 grains. I have also been successfully treating my adrenal fatigue with some products through standard process. Now, with all of that finally "happy" I am having estrogen dominance. My D.O. recently started me on progesterone which is compounded at a local pharmacy into 50mg troche's (with permission to go up to 200mg if necessary). I started them four days ago and have been RAVENOUSLY hungry. Has anyone else had this issue. I struggled for so many years with the hypo that now that I have finally lost the weight I am very sensitive and even paranoid about gaining. I hated the insomnia and anxiety from the estrogen dominance a week out of the month, but this hunger thing is insane!> > > )> >
Guest guest
No, my D.O. and chiropractor both prescribed them. I do not self medicate for thyroid issues. > > > > > > I started taking armour for hypothyroid last January (08) and am now > comfortably on 2 grains.
