LOL. You are weirder than me. Didn't think that was possible. No, seriously, my hr alway goes up for a bit, then it will settle down. I have had my bp drop a little as well. Also, once the meds kick in and my lungs quit fighting my o2 sats will usually drop. Remember with me, if I am at the ER I have already been fighting for quite a while. I don't go unless every trick I have at home is not working. My theory is that my lungs just get tired (along with every other muscle in my body) and just decide not to function properly once the attack calms down and my sats fall. I meant to ask this yesterday... but I forgot. When I got to the ER yesterday, my pulse was 89 and my BP was 114/80 and my pulse ox was 97. After the neb treatments (albuterol/atrovent combined), and Ive noticed this before...my pulse was only 85 and my BP went DOWN...to 102/76. Does anyone else have the reverse effect of the vital signs decreasing?? lol

I do. I think that the bp and pulse both go down because the body is no longe undo stress. I feel better so I am more relaxed.......as long as I don't think about the bill, that is. Mike McBride
