Guest guest
Well...I'm up and feeling better this morning....the coughing is much better...I'm scheduled for labs every Thursday for the next 3 weeks....and I'm like you...I don't need anybody to tell me how I'm doing...lol...I've coughed for the last 5 days and I feel like I've been hit in the gut with a sledgehammer!!! Can you tell i woke up mad and ready to get rid of this??? And about the vaccines....those are mandatory for me.....I lost my spleen due to a car accident....so I have to have a pneumo-vac every 4-5 years and a flu shot every year.....thanks for the good thoughts TinaRick Kipp wrote: Though my last tx ended 11/06, 2 months ago I had a pretty severe length of light fevers, heavy coughing, etc. Xray and blood test results (white count over 19,000). Guest guest
The pneumonia vaccine prevents only one kind of pneumonia - there are different kinds. Mycoplasma type aren't covered - one ob my recent blood tests revealed that I had been exposed to it - but have not had it in 30 years. Many folks have mycoplasmas and never have any problems - folks with fibro, chroic fatigue and even hep c have been shown to have more mycoplasmas that can cause problems down the road. Something else that docs need to test their patients for prior to treatment I have never had a pneumonia shot and refuse to get a flu shot. Hope you feel better soon! M - I had my pneumo-vac in January 2007.......and here I am with pneumonia......makes you wonderJackie on <redjaxjm> wrote: well probably if you have had the shot, you probably wont get it,, maybe they didnt have their shot,, or its been long enough that they need another one?Sheena <mom4possums2002> wrote: Yikes, so you are saying the pneumonia vaccine is worthless?
