Ok guys I just posted this receipe on another board so thought I

would post it here..Lots of good protein in it

Called " Camp Cookies " and VERY easy to do

1c-peanut butter

1c- sugar===might be able to substute splenda I haven't tried that

1-egg

1t-vanilla

Mix altogether and roll in walnut size balls and roll in sugar.

Bake at 350 for about 10mins,let set for about a minute.

You can flatten them with a fork before cooking or leave them in

a ball and when taken out of oven you can put a candy kiss in

the middle...They are really good,so enjoy!!!

God bless,

Pat

Pat,

This is the recipe I use! It's so easy that I would do them more often

but I don't keep sugar in the house...Also I switch 1/2 of the sugar with

granulated splenda. It cuts some of the calories and carbs....No change in the

taste either.

Jim,

they are a little dry usually, kind of crumbly, but really good taste. A

little on the sweet side though....

Smart and Final sales Splenda in a 9.7 oz bag. So it is a great size for

baking. Those little boxes don't go very far when you use them by the cup full.

I can't wait to bake the peanutbutter cookies.

I was shopping at Target and found Keeblers Chips Deluxe Carb Sensible

Cookies. Each cookie has 3g net carbs. I haven't tried them yet (still only

eating

protein), but I did make my husband and three children try them last night.

I have normal cookies also, but my kids asked for the low carb ones tonight

after dinner...so they can't be all bad.

I just made these cookies, They are pretty good using Splenda. I didn't have

exactly 1 cup of pb, so I used an equal amount of Spleanda. They turned out

a little on the dry side. But they are dang good for a DS-er.

So now we know,I guess I am going to have to get some splenda

by the box and not the packages...Thanks Jim...Just think of

the protein we are getting, with the pb and the egg.

Have a great Sunday all and good nite

God bless,

Pat
