Guest guest
Does your child swallow pills? If he does then go for the pills because the liquid is pretty bitter tasting. My son is 5 and 42lbs and I started him off at 1 drop 3 times per day and worked my way up to 10 drops 3 times per day. I'm sure I could go higher but he does quite well at this dose. If you're going to use the drops, I'd suggest using a syringe with a bit of pear juice and just squirt it down the little mouth. So what's better...tincture or pills? And what's the protocol for its use on a 40 lb child? I'd search the archives, but that gets rather tedious.thanx, karen
Guest guest
Thanx. I went ahead and ordered the tincture. Ian is only 3 and is very good at tolerating his icky tasting medicines. Thank goodness for that!! We're on about a dozen different supplements right now, and a lot of them get mixed together with juice to make some interesting flavors....what's one more? thanx again for answereing!! karen > OK..I've been hearing this OLE jargon going on for a while now and it > wasn't until my doctor told me to get some Olive Leaf Extract (for my > sore throat) this morning that it hit me. > > So what's better...tincture or pills? > > And what's the protocol for its use on a 40 lb child? > > I'd search the archives, but that gets rather tedious. > > thanx, karen >
