UPDATE ON ANGELA RAMON, by vicki

It saddens my heart to report to all of you that are

praying, keep praying please, that the doctors do not think will

recover. If by some miracle she does, she will never be the same. They

mentioned a vegetative state, if she lives.

The MRI showed the white and gray matter in the center of her brain are all

scrambled up. There are 4 or 5 small bleeds that will not stop. Rather than ask

for a second opinion at a teaching hospital, the in-law family accepts the

local neurosurgeon's opinion. She has DAI (diffuse axonal injury) and brain

sheer injury at her brain stem. I don't see how it's possible for her to still

be alive, unless a true miracle happens. Age 22, new job, planning a wedding,

and now this.

One of the kids was allowed in, I guess they sedated her deeper, and when he

talked to her, a tear came from her eye, so we think she is in there somewhere,

even with massive brain injury.

It remains to be seen whether a recovery is possible or a lifetime of nursing

home, or death.

I THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR PRAYERS. May she know God's peace, whichever way

it goes. It is such a tragedy. I can hardly believe it. Vicki
