Guest guest
Yes I completed treatment. I don't have the records from the first round of treatment. It was in Oct 2002 that I started that treatment. I was a rebounder. At the beginning of treatment my viral load was 820,000 and at week 30 of treatment my vial load was 158. I was told less than 50 was considered non-detectable. One month after stopping treatment my viral load was back up to 800,000. I really need to try to get those records. That doctor said we'll just wait and watch. I thought "I don't think so" - I got a second opinion and that is how I got in the studies. I then started treatment for the study in July '04 and did 12 weeks and didn't clear - was told viral load went down but didn't clear for the study - so they put me in a 36 month trial study of just low dose PegIntron. (that was a worthless study, just finished that one in November '07) Now waiting for the next study of the PegIntron, rebatol, and protease inhibitor that is supposed to be in the next couple months. Here are some numbers I have: (not sure what they really mean) May/June '05 787,000 copies/ml - 228,779 IU/ml Oct/Nov '05 3,740,000 copies/ml - 1,087,209 IU/ml April/Jun '06 1,706,769 copies/ml - 496,154 IU/ml Sep/Oct '06 1,166,841 copies/ml - 339,198 IU/ml I do not know what my viral load is now. I am going to contact them to see if I can find out. Next time I am going to keep better records. Rita Re: jax What do you mean? Im not following you, are you saying that you treated but you did not get clear? How low did you go and what is your viral load now? Did you complete treatment or stop early or what? Can you explain it to me please? thanks jaxRita aka Spring <manytearsofspring@ yahoo.com> wrote: okay... I didn't completely get undetectable but got very very low... and rebounded. So guess I'll give it a go when they call. Rita CopeJuly 25, 1979 - August 12, 2000passenger single car accident Never miss a thing. Make Yahoo your homepage.
