Are you saying that Pathak is not willing to Rx any dessicated thyroid? I do not know anyone who has seen him. I only know that Launius was referring patients to him who wanted Armour. (Board orders prevent Launius from prescribing anything but $ynthroid.) It was on that basis that I included Pathak in my Texas Armour Docs list. (Separate from the Database.)

I know he will not write for the ERFA Canadian thyroid, because I called his office and asked. Is he also not willing to write for compounded desiccated thyroid?

No, no, I apologize for not being clear . . . . my current doctor (who IS

Launius) will not prescribe Armour/natural anymore which is why I'm on Synthroid

right now. I asked Launius about ERFA and he said no way.

I saw Dr Pathak one time because I was in a bind and he DID write me a

prescription for compounded Armour!

I went back to Launius earlier this month only to find out that he won't do

natural anymore and that sort of bothers me.

Sorry if that was confusing!!

I liked seeing Dr Pathak and he was willing to prescribe the Armour that I took

to a compounding pharmacy. I didn't ask Pathak about ERFA though, so I guess

I'll skip that

So . . . I'm considering switching to Pathak or the doctor that was mentioned in

another thread and I was wanting feedback on Pathak.
