Guest guest
Well guys, here's the prelimary scoop from our trip to Duke... Gastric Emptying - normal GI biopsies - normal, some chronic inflamation MRI of pituitary - normal C-diff - negative Bone marrow bx - pending IgA antibodies - pending So why the heck is he still throwing up???????? No one can tell us. The only connection I can make is that his ONLY problem seems to be stemming from his poor blood counts (anemia, neutropenia, low platelets, low whites/reds, etc.) so could his blood 'problem' be causing his vomiting????? stupid question, I know..... Sandy Adam's Mom (Zero IgA, autoimmune anemia-transfusion dependent, IDDM, hypothyroidism, adrenal insufficiency, g-tube, etc., etc.)
Guest guest
Dear Sandy: I am glad that most of the test were negative and hopefully the blood screens will be better. Hang in there and our prayers are with you. I wish I knew more medically to even give an opinion on his vomitting. Guest guest
Sandy, I amnew to this immuneology thing but to low blood counts. has ben neutropenic for over 3 years now. Is he neutropenic all the time or is cyclic neutropenic. Have you tried neupogen. Seems to be workingg wonders with . I know that the neutropnia can make some one sick like that especially if they are yclic neutropenic. You probably get the infusion around the same time each month. too is amemic. red count is ok her platets are high but her white count is ususally 3.1 or so and her ANC runs about 0-250 or so. and ERin --- annette lennon wrote: > > > Dear Sandy: I am glad that most of the test were > negative and hopefully the > blood screens will be better.
