Guest guest
I just happen to be looking at the British Bullworker forum. Looks like our friend is trying to sell his goods over there. Alan BullyLover Joined: 26 Apr 2006 Posts: 2 Posted: Sat Apr 29, 2006 2:42 pm Post subject: Bully Xtreme And I have A life....lol --------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------- I see while I have been basking in the Florida sun, everyone's got questions for me. Ok, Bully is all metal the only thing plastic is the handles as I posted before. It comes with a custom carry cover made of canvas and color wall chart. The stuff on the CD is the xtreme training guide which gives info on setting goals, using affirmations, how to train ( takes a while to read this stuff you know) then you also get a fat loss guide that goes into the nutrition component of exercsing. It's very complete. Talks about the whole carb thing. The interesting part is this guy most have competed in body building because he goes into what only competitors know which is carb rotation. He gets into how to measure body fat, water consumption as part of your diet. I mean me personally I understand what a BIG component proper diet is to buiding muscle. He gets into the entire Katch Macardle formula for determining you BMI and fat and calorie burning index. It's a lot of good info. He does indicate that you need to do some form of cardio everyday. He suggests the typical things, but he is very hardcore. He talks about how serious you are about your goals in terms of if you really want to cut body fat that for some people it might take double cardio sessions 6 days a week. I mean this fat loss thing is worth almost the entire cost of the bully. As to manufacturer. I really dont care. I emailed them and they indicated that they use three different manufacturers. By the way there are some new exercises on the chart that are kinda cool. As to the Sherrill thing I guess only one person in the USA has that name...frankly (pun intended) some of the things people post makes me wonder. By the way. On the CD's there is no bullworker material, it's all bully stuff and I got some free goodies as well. All in all I like the product I like the training and fat loss guide ... Well it's saturday I'm off to get in some sun and later go dancing with some hot floridian mamasita. I dont have my bully muscles yet but I'm working on it. By the way why the big bugaho about who makes it? I dont get that. Must be a british thing....sorry so american of me I know. lol P.S. I checked out that conditioning thing and it's two different products I dont get the connection, also the bully has a store on ebay I dont know about the other stuff, the internet sometimes is worse then a bunch of chicks in the bathroom..you know rumors and gossip. I checked out the guys feedback, cause the people that would know if he is a good guy are the people that bought from him so far he is at 100% and I gave him good feedback also. As to all the negatives that I read some where I dismissed them. It reminds me of when I was heavy into day trading, guys would post negative crap about about some stock and everybody would go running to sell it. Of course the guy posting the crap was shorting the stock. That goes on in stock trading and I guess from what I see it happens in other areas. Well as much as I love my laptop I want to see some fine latin females. peace.
Guest guest
So, Since I am new to all this, what is everyone saying? Don't get the " Bully " ? How about the X5 at www.bullworker-usa.com, is that one good, or should I keep taking my chances at eBay and the local thrift stores? How about the X5 at www.bullworker-usa.com, is that > one good, or should I keep taking my chances at eBay and the local > thrift stores? Jon, the X5 is great. I have two of them, one from the very early 80's (I think I bought it at a Target back then) on which the power meter wore off, and a new one I got from bullworker-usa.com five months or so ago. The new one has been reworked somewhat and it's stronger and better built. That said, my old one still rocks. If I'm not mistaken, Bullworker-USA re-introduced the bullworker to the U.S. markets some time in the late 90's. I'm not sure as to the whys and wherefores it disappeared for a while to begin with, but all I can say is that I'm glad it's available again. There seems to be a definite upswing in bullworker interest. After you've used it for a couple of months, you'll know why. The X5 is the one with four nylon straps, two on each side, so you get more flexibility as to the exercises you can do. You also get a very nice wall chart with the X5. (I kinda wish they shipped the old book -- or an updated version of it -- with the X5 too, but hey, at least you can download that in the " Files " section at the site for this email list.) /Jelks
Guest guest
Thank you Jelks. I have wondered why the Bullworker, in the US, is only marketed online at the moment. Maybe if interest continues to increase they'll start retailing them at Walmart and Target, etc. With fuel hitting at least $3.00 a gallon (traveling to the gym), and home exercise systems costing too much, the forseeable solution would be the Bullworker. Guest guest
Interesting point. I used the BW way back when it was the BW 1-Even then, it was mail order only. > > > Since I am new to all this, what is everyone saying? Don't get > > > the " Bully " ? Guest guest
A few years ago, maybe three,an Army-Navy store here advertised Bullworkers. So,they were getting them into some retail stores then.I don't know why they no longer carry them, though. It would be great to be able to walk into a sporting goods or department store and buy one. That way,no waiting for delivery,no shipping fees, and you can see what your getting before you buy. Maybe someday. Richrrbelloff wrote: Interesting point. I used the BW way back when it was the BW 1-Even then, it was mail order only.> > > Since I am new to all this, what is everyone saying? Guest guest
Yes, I have been looking for a supply of Bullworkers for quite a while now, but nothing quite what I'd like to find. As a eBay Seller (bright_smiles), I'd really like to have a supply of these to sell. I have been using a Bullworker on & off for almost 40 years...yes, that's right, since I was a teenager, and am now approaching mid-50's. Still use it most every day, and swear by it. As a person who firmly believes in, endorses, and actually uses this product, I would love to be able to add them somehow to my list of items on eBay, and my future website (www.brightsmilesent.com). I still have an original glossy exercise booklet, in decent shape, don't use it because I know them all off by heart. Anyways, I really don't want to overcommercialize this post; I can guarantee you I am not like the guys you just kicked off this forum- I was excited when my wife stumbled on you folks and told me about y'all. But I am sincerely looking for a supply of Bullworkers, particularly like the " old " 2-traction rope style like I still use. If we can post photos here, I might be daring enough to show you a pic of myself just to prove that there truly is fitness after 50!! LOL! Thanks for having this forum-it's great, and usually read most all the posts. Some of you folks are REALLY knowledgeable on the minute details of all the Bullworker fitness aspects-very impressive. I just know it works! Brent > > > > Since I am new to all this, what is everyone saying? Don't get > > > > the " Bully " ? Guest guest
I would contact the Bullworker India guys. They make the old style BW and I think they sell it for a very reasonable US dollar price. Guest guest
Appreciate the tip. Is there a Website, name, email or any way you know of to contact? Or if the India guys (or anyone else with pertinent info) are reading this, would love to hear from you. Thanks.
