Get a bigger seat? LOL, or a smaller coochie? HAHAHA! HUGS!

OK, seriously, I would get a padded, wide, GEL FILLED seat! Thats

about the only thing I could handle, especially now with the mons

lift and everything being right up front, the seat would rub me raw,

heck, the seams on my jeans are enough to make me sensitive and

wiggly! They have some great gel seats and the larger seats are comfy

as heck!

Jo, your bedside manner is so smooth. You need to express how you REALLY

Yes riding a bike is excellent exercise...with the weightloss your

coochie is simply more exposed. A quick fix might be to add some

padding, wear a kotex at the area where your getting soar. Also

spend some of your riding time in a standing position...lol..yep we

are back to getting of your.....

Jo

By the way, sorry if I came off as harsh...I was being to the point

but I was laughing while typing. Dr. K once basically told me to

get off my bottom if it hurt.

LOL, even when I stay OFF my ass it aches! Me sit? HAHAHA, everyone

naqs that I never sit still! I spend more time on my hands and knees

than sitting! And o feel like I am always walking, shopping, and

chasing these 9 dogs and 3 kids!

Hmmm....stairs could be fun though.....darn, don't have any!

OK, need a new house.....wonder if I can talk Ray into it? LOL, he

will probably hand me a box and tell me " step on, step off "

Actually walking is a real pain sometimes too, with the scoliosis I

have one side higher than the other and it seems to throw one hip out

of alignment and THAT hurts! Pain all the way down my right leg and

buttcheek, OUCH! Sure throws a wrench in my shopping since those hard

floors at the mall make it worse! One trip to Walmart and it takes 2

days to get my lower back and hip back to normal!

So far though, stretching does seem to help the most, but stairs,

that sounds interesting, fun, and doable, but where the heck am I

gonna find stairs though?

Cindee..sitting in a wheel chair.... most of the time as I do ..I got a

thick gel pad that helps a great deal....expensive as all get out.... but it

is worth it for me...don't leave them in the sun however ...they leak...Now

I have had mine 8 years and I got it in Seattle at a store that sold

things for wheel chairs and stuff ...You might check it out ....Also check

with a gentle Chiropractor...they might be able to get your back in place so

it doesn't hurt so much...I go to the ones that use the thumper rather than

crack'en your back...Had enough cracks in my back thank you...Hope some of

this might help..I know it's the pits...I know that it doesn't help but pat

pat any way...and soft hugs...Lilyen PS. Thanks for all the advice on the

TT etc.Mel ,Pat and Marta...I have to go get the approval from my PCP in

Seattle in two weeks and I may just take it in hand........the insurance

approval that is..... and go to Dr.K...Love Lilyen

Jo, we ALL know that mouth of yours and we also know that anything

that you say you say with love and because you care, so don't worry

about anyone taking it wrong!

But yes, I HAVE tried walking and moving more but for some reason the

last few weeks it is REALLY getting more painful and I am not doing

anything different or anything to make it worse, in fact I have only

been out dancing once in the last month....

CRAP...that's it!! Instead of dancing non-stop for 5 hours once a

week, I have slacked off because it made my feet and hips hurt! Maybe

thats what it is, my body was so used to all that exercice and now it

is lacking! OK, shal I dance and put up with the aching hips and

feet, or not dance and have an aching tailbone?

Hmm, tossing a coin and getting back on my hands and knees and

letting Ray massage my tailbone with this wonderful massager for a

while, SEE, I am off my ass!!! HAHAHA!!!

And you can be as harsh as you like, we need it and we love ya anyway!

Yeah Mama Jo! Whack, er wave your magic wand at...er..on...er...FOR

Vicki! Yeah, that's it! Whack that woman! OK Vicki, get off your

coochie, (that is what hurts, right?) and get moving! Grab some Kotex

(HEY, that really does sound good, wonder if an overnight one would

help pad my tailbone?) and get on that bike woman!

Cindee (still searching for stairs.........and covering her tail cuz

she don't want Mama Jo to whack HER ass!)

Gotta love them Kegels! Squeeze them muscles! I have done those for

years (LOL, just ask Ray!)! But squeezing the butt muscles only? Hmm,

thats a really good thought! Hmm....I can see me in line squeezing my

butt cheeks together though....LOL, everyone would think I either had

to go REALLY bad or was doing something VERY strange in my drawers!!

Hey, if I did it just right it would look like the chicken dance!

OK, this is one I will save for at home only, but I like the idea,

and actually think it could help!

Hmm, I can even do that on my hand and knees!

Or washing dishes......and vacuuming!

OK, if the kids laugh at me I am gonna tell Mama Jo to dump poop on

their heads!

Most carbs constipate me terribly!! But one good deep fried burrito

and I can clear the house! Hmm....I DID have a deep fried Chimichanga

and mojo's a while ago, maybe the threat of the dreaded gas will get

my kids off their butts! LOL, all I have to do is stand in their

doorway and smile and not say a word and they all run! My daughter

put a sticker on my door a while back that says " NATURAL GAS " and it

is still there....LOL, if I want the kids out of my room (they like

to hang out in here with us and watch TV) I just let loose, she gags

and I have my room empty!

I love it!!!

Mel, I have 3 fused vertabrae in my neck and I am always terrified

that the chiropractor will unfuse them and break it! But so far he

has been very gentle and easy with it. When it comes to my lower back

and hips that man has the hands of an angel! He starts with deep heat

(moist) for 20 minutes, then about the time I fall asleep he comes in

and does a 10 minute deep tissue massage by hand and then uses the

electric massager on my whole back for another 5 minutes or so, THEN

he finally adjusts my back and hips and it feels so darn good I just

wanna melt!

But to keep it feeling good I need at least 2-3 visits a week and

even at just $35 a visit it's too darn much for me! So poor Ray is

stuck with the massage duties! But he has the help of an awesome

massager that fits on the back of his hand and vibrates so deep that

it eases the pain in minutes (and he never complains, even if I need

three in a day, or if I wake him up at 3am because I hurt, he really

does spoil me terribly, or is that love?)

I found an awesome new toy that I want (need?) It is the same

massager that my chiropractor has, it looks like a 2 handed car

buffer - they are expensive, but the one I borrowed at a friends was

so awesome I think it would be well worth it!

OK, fruit first, massage second, see what you guys have started? I am

sooooo easy and always open to the power of suggestion!

OH Wise Ones! I am so lucky to have you all to tell me to get off my

ass and work it, baby, work it! LOL, OK, OK, I gotcha! Hmm, feel the

burn? I can handle that, I don't have a diving board, but I could

step in and out of the spa, or step up down the steps in it for a

while, I could stay cool, the water would help prevent the hip and

lower back pain I get from walking on hard surfaces, plus it would

give me the stepping exercise I need! OK, I can do this!
