My mom kicked me out on Sunday morning. I have been a musical

houseguest, adn she broke into my email. Shes making horrible threats

and I cant really deal with all of it at this point.

Kassiane, I'm in NO WAY saying the way your mother is behaving is

acceptable, but haven't you said you think she's mentally disturbed?

I just want to say that if she does indeed suffer from a mental

disorder then it's quite possible she is unaware of how wrong her

behavior is. I know I always thought all the times my mom hit,

shook, and cussed me as I was growing up that she was a mean,

unloving person. As I'm beginning to see that she truly has mental

problems I felt relief that it wasn't that my mother didn't love me,

it's that she truly doesn't know what she is doing. Not that it ever

excuses the behavior, I guess it just gives me some kind of personal

peace.

Please stay safe and get a safe place! Have you tried getting social

services to help you?

Kassiane, I thought you were trying to get differant houseing? Last time we

talked you said that you were filling out paperwork to get out. Whats the

latest with that?

My mom has ADD, which is NOT an excuse or a reason for this. At this

moment she is trying to have me involuntarily committed. Im really at a

loss as to what to do, because my mom is being CRAZY and now I cant go

to work or anything because they might find me there.

Im working on it but I cant right now I am at a friends hiding because

my mom is trying to have me involuntarily committed. Cant deal with

paperwork, cant deal with any of this.

My daughter Jen was involve in Special Olympics through her school. We live in

Pennsylvania. Her teacher took care of it... in fact the whole participates.

Junior Olympics is AAU, they compete in AAU sanctioned sports, they're a

mainstream organization.

To get involved with Special Olympics they must be 8 years old, and you

need to contact the organizer for the state and region you are in. They

have a website that can help you with that. I coached special olympics

but never competed.

Did she go to Special Olympics camp in PA?? I coached there through my

church! I'm too old to be a youth group volunteer though. The camp is

AWESOME, free to the athletes and all that. Great stuff. I coached

swimming.

I've even talked to my mom about you.....if you need someplace call

691-0551 ask for mary lou, tell you who you are...I'm not sure what

the guidlines for being housed...I think you have to feel threatened,

but maybe she knows other avenues. or let me know. I'm only an hour

Kara loves the trampoline. but she's not a very good tumbleer...she

lacks motot planning.

I also have motor planning troubles but I have overcome them to a

degree, I can do the moves that are simple but powerful. The complex

moves are harder for me.
