Erfa Thyroid and Form 1572

Got this email today and called his assistant Genevieve who says that as of today they just need a fax of your MD prescription indicating "Thyroid" "mg amount of 30, 60 or 123 mg, dosage directions and number of tablets prescribed", phone or internet/online entry into their system with a credit card included AFTER they have the faxed prescription in hand. Genevieve was quite specific that they destroy your credit card info after the order is shipped to you. She says the #500 Thyroid 125 mg is $100.00 (and I would assume with shipping and handling extra). That is less than my copay here! Has anyone actually received and used this Canadian Thyroid?

Also I called CanadaRx.com yesterday. They said and they are totally back ordered AND had gone from their online price of about $71 for 500 tabs to $300 for 500 tabs "and it may be more depending on when we can get Thyroid again".

Then Erfa told me today they are the manufacturer and supplier and they are not back ordered with anyone....sounds like some up north are looking to make a buck or two extra from the Southerners. Erfa said I was the fifth call from Texas today.

I had switched to levothyroxine by Lannett and Cytomel (Thanks everyone for information and for repeating it enough that I finally got it and acted on it) . Seem to be doing fairly well and sense I was reacting to the Armour in some way (yes, you told me a long time ago B, you sweetie) and it seems I feel more ups and downs and maybe a bit more medicated with the synthetics VS reaction to fillers and it being a synthetic. Overall I am just relieved to have something to keep me in the ballpark of normalized thyroid function. My temp was actually 98.2 at the doc yesterday and I'm not even ill ! My "normal" used to be 96.4 to 97.4 so it always felt like I was death wormed over after too long out of the freezer.
