LOL! any and all advice appreciated. hugs, cindy lee Where does it hurt? Bottom or top? I had a heel spur that gave me fits and had to have it injected to relieve pain a few years ago. Tom is going through all of that now. On Top I had a problem when I started at the hospital, It was helped by placing cotton or gauze between my big and 2nd toe and keeping them apart. After a few months it got better.
Guest guest
I am having extreme foot pain. Like - I want to scream - foot pain! BUT I have not injured my foot or been exercising or wearing new shoes - or yadda yadda yadda - I mean there is NO reason for my feet to hurt. It is extremely painful (especially at night while laying in bed). Is this what arthritis feels like???? My feet rarely hurt when I was MO so I can't imagine why they hurt so much now. It has been going on for several weeks. How does one know if they have arthritis? Is there a test? Does it show up on xrays? Aren't I a bit young? Guest guest
Marta, When I had my 2 year labs done a few months ago they were fine. Could they go awry that quickly? Dee said hers started with a gout like feeling - I am not sure I know what that feels like. THis pain is intense - like a hammer hitting my foot - but has no explanation! Crazy! BTW, I LOVE your new hairdo! You are adorable! A real head turner! hugs, cindy lee > lee, first make sure your PTH and calcium are okay. I cured my plantar fasciitis by stretching the bottom of my feet. I can tell you how in more detail if you want me to. Gout is excruciating agony. 10/10 pain. Guest guest
Hey Lee, It's Joy from Vista...I started getting a falling arch in my left foot which affected stance and the muscles and ligature in that foot all ached, especially when I got up in the morning. In June I began wearing an orthotic but not one for which you need to have casts of your foot done....it puts all three of your arches in a neutral position at 6 degree angles which is technically anatomically correct. Over time (about 2 years)these things are supposed to totally change your feet and stance. My feet have already changed and I can tell my feet and legs are stronger and the blood flow to my feet has increased. I can also tell you my chiropractic adjustments are lasting much longer and I no longer have pain standing for a long time or when I exercise at the gym. They have helped with back, knee and hip pain too....they get you off your bone structure and back into your muscle structure so your muscles are doing more work...also cellulite has cleared up some and my calves have become stronger. All these changes as a pre- op is a a blessing in my book and I know they will also help after the operation. Perhaps your stance is off? I had no idea how much I was off til I started wearing these things but being off the heels has helped me tremendously. Perhaps this kind of thing would be helpful to you too? If you'd like more info, feel free to email me at hibou21@.... Guest guest
Hi cindy Lee! I'm so sorry you're having foot pain! I know how miserable that can be! Where exactly is your pain? Does it hurt more or less when you walk up or down stairs? It could be plantar faciatis(sp?). I had that once and it's awful! Surprisingly, aspirin helps the pain quite a bit. My symptoms included pain underneath my foot, particularly when bending it to take a step. However, if I was walking UPstairs, the pain subsided. If I walked DOWNstairs, the pain came back. The bad news is, I think you have to ride it out if that's what it is. I also get nasty pain in my outer ankle area sometimes due to foot cramps at night. It's as if my foot gets mad at me when it doesn't get to have a regular cramp and so it causes me horrible pain all night long. Hope this gives you some clues. Hugs!
