worried that my EN keeps recurring

My name is . I am thirty-five years old and have suffered with

EN for nine years. When I was first diagnosed, I had a severe case and

was put on prednisone for a couple of monthes. I never had it that bad

but it still flares up especially when I am under stress. The first

time I had it I had numerous tests which were negative. I never go to

the doctor aand have basically given up hope I feel if it was something

that bad it would have surfaced itself by now but I admit it bothers me

as to why it has not gone away and as I get older if it is something

that I need to watch or treat. I feel that doctors don't know enough

about it because its rare. Do you with EN find that stomach symptoms

are associated with the disease itself. I was never tested for Crohns-I

don't feel I have the symptoms, but my stomach is really a mess right

before an EN flare-up. Also do female suffers of EN have flare-ups with

menstral cycle? I am happy I have found this support group.
