Guest guest Posted August 11, 2009 Report Share Posted August 11, 2009 Hi all! My name is Kristy, I have a 6 y/o son who was diagnosed with allergy induced Asthma at the age of 1. We did not find out until he was 4 that he was allergic to our cat and that is why he was havin so many problems breathing and why he was in and out of the hospital and doctors office. I took control and took him to a specialist and thats when they tested him and found to be allergic to cats and dogs. That day we got rid of our cat. My husband and I have noticed that his asthma is worse in the winter. This summer he has not needed any of his allergy/asthma medication. YEAH!!! I look forward to talking to everyone on this matter cuz its kinda scary to know that your child/ren are havin problems breathing.
