Guest guest
Hi everyone, I am still fairly new to all of the this. I saw my DAN! doctor about 2 weeks ago for the first time and I have started giving my some the supplements that she recommended and we have been casein free for about 3 months and gluten free for just a week. But I noticed yesterday when I changed his diaper he had what looks to me like black flakes in his stool and I had seen it before, maybe when I removed the milk. Can anyone tell me what it could possibly be? I have seen some benefits with removing the milk. He definitely sleeps better and doesn't move all over the bed and since I removed the gluten, my husband and I noticed that he is doing some imaginary play. For instance, he hears our phone ring, and he'll put his hand next to his ear as if he's on the phone and starts to babble. We are so excited about this. My son is 2.5 years old and doesn't have much expressive language but I have noticed that since the diet he has been following more simple step directions. So we are hopeful and looking forward to more good things to come now that we are adding the supplements. Our DAN! doctor said that based on my son's organix comprehensive profile test my son did not have a yeast problem. So, if anyone could please tell me, what are these black flakes in my son's stool? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,
Guest guest
It's usually a good sign of detox and can be dead pinworms too. > > Hi everyone, > I am still fairly new to all of the this. Guest guest
Black flecks are an ongoing mystery amongst our kids. No one really has the answer. Some say it's yeast, some guess it's bacteria, others will say it's undigested food particles. I see it once in a while from my 5 yr. old son. I'm thinking it's something he eats that he doesn't tolerate. What are the black flakes in my son's stool? Hi everyone,I am still fairly new to all of the this. Guest guest
I only see these in my son's stool when on antifungal meds so for me I am guessing it's related to yeast somehow. Would love to know for sure though. > > Hi everyone, > I am still fairly new to all of the this.
