I think there is a chapter in Overcoming Autism - the Keogal's stuff

for strategies for shaping scripting in to function

communication...Matt was nonverbal when I got the book, so I didn;t

stufy that portion very hard...but it is in there I think. There

strategies for getting first words and then a sentence and then

linking two words have all worked here. This is an easy read and a

very useful book for dealing with stimming, scripting, encouraging

emerging language all sorts of things related to autism, but from a

strictly behavioral perspective of course....but their stuff works.
