Guest guest
Tonight my daughter and I were sitting on the couch talking. My husband although I love him and think he is the greatest thing since sliced bread. ahem He is a cheap skate-God loves him, And I do too. We have this thing called free to air-it is a satelitte thingy. It picks up satelitte signals out of the air and we don't have to pay for satelitte or cable. It is all legal, I checked it out. Once it is in the air you can pick it up. Problem is that they change the codes all the time, so you might have to go without tv for a while. Our bedroom tv just has a standard tv antenna and we get only a few stations. And that is fuzzy. Altus, although a very sweet and growing community has no local TV station. Nearest on is Lawton, and for some reason we can't get it. We can get one station out of Wichita Falls, Tx. Go figure. Anyway back to the conversation. I asked my husband how much it would cost to buy and set up a TV station. He said you got a cool million burning a hole in your pocket? I said no, but I know that I am going to win the lottery sometime soon. I know that is crazy talk but somebody has to win and why not me. The simple fact that I have only bought 4 lottery tickets in my life not a deterant to me. LOL Brei said to me, what kind of TV station would you have. I said all Redneck TV all the time Redneck. And then I began with a spill-doing the news Redneck. She was rolling and I mean rolling on the floor convulsing with laughter. She is funny that way. The girl is strange. LOL She told me that I am so funny that I need to go into comedy. So Larry the cable guy, Jeff Foxworthy and Roseanne move over you have met your match. In the mean time, will some of you buy me some lottery tickets so that I can have my own TV station?? Cause I think that is the only way that I am going to make my break in comedy by having my own station. There is not much call for middle age, married with children, funny looking comedians.
