Have you tried activated charcoal to help with die off? Is he on

diflucan or other antifungal with the valtrex? How much valtrex were

you giving? I am about to embark on the valtrex/antifungal protocol so

I any info would be helpful.

I did hear from my DAN today. She did stop the Valtrex AND Fluconazole. Due to Carson's symptoms (fever 4 days, withdrawn, dark circles around the eys, very tired, out of it), she feels it could be a reaction to the medicine. She's concerned it could be his liver or just a poor reaction.

If he still has a fever tomorrow (which would be day 5), she wants me to bring him in immediately for lab work. She did say what I thought she would say.... that Carson could be on the verge of a breakthrough with the fever, OR it could be the liver, OR it could just be that he picked up a virus. She DOES NOT want me to give Motrin or anything for it.

Our DAN said we can always restart Valtrex, but right now she just wants him to get back to baseline first and run some labs...etc.

Ironically, since Carson has missed his doses of Valtrex today, he is much improved already. I am frustratedhowever, due to the HBOT just sitting here looking at us. Our DAN says she wants Carson fever free for 24 hours before we start. I really wish I would have listened to my instinct and started HBOT 2-3 months after Valtrex instead of only 4 weeks into it. As you may know, HBOT is expensive and not something to waste sitting here looking at me! lol

I hope this helps. Carson has been an easy responder to all biomed therapies so far, so our DAN thinks the prescription stuff may be just too strong for him. We will see. We will continue all of his supplements including IV Glutathione.... just stopping Valtrex and Fluconazole for now.

I know this is not an exact science and that we are all learning (including DAN's), but it just got very scary for me seeing Carson so ill.

Please, I need your advice.

My son is on day 26 of Valtrex. He is 52 pounds and is still on 250mg twice a day. This is day 3 (11:00pm) of a fever 102.1

degrees

and our DAN says not to treat the fever. He is also on

Fluconazole

for the past 36 days.

I am terrified. My son is unusually tired, withdrawn, out of it, with very dark circles around his eyes.

We have seen some gains on Valtrex with regression also, but the past several days, the gains have stopped coming and only see regression.

I want to stop Valtrex. That's just my instinct. Meanwhile, we have our HBOT here waiting for my son. We rented it on Thursday

and

on the same day, he came down with this fever. Our DAN says not

to

use HBOT until the fever is gone.

Please, any advice would be greatly appreciated. I am so scared. If I should stop Valtrex, do I just stop cold turkey? I am

our DAN in the morning, but I need advice now.
