You know you have WLS when

Your Grandaughter puts her arms all the way around you,

and says WoW, look at this nana I can hug you all the

way around...

You know you are in 7th heaven when you can give your 18yr

old grandaughter a bra of yours that will fit her...

You can walk all over church camp and enjoy it like I am

going to do tomorrow.

You know you have come along ways when after 33yr your ding

bat husband ask you for a divorce and you yell " YEA " ..LOL

....you go to the beach for a get together with your co-workers and

don't realize until you get home that you weren't self-conscious in

the LEAST while walking by all those baywatch bodies.

....you spend three days walking between 3 and 4 miles a day on

concrete and the worst that happens is the arthritis in your hips

acts up. No miserably aching feet, no throbbing calves, no complete

exhaustion for days afterwards.

....The day after those three days of walking, you STILL get on the

treadmill and do your regular exercises!

I love this surgery!

Welllll.....

You know youve had WLS when

You go out to dinner with your hubby and the next day a friend calls

him and says...I'm sorry, I didnt know you and Sharon split up. And

by the way who was that skinny blonde I saw you with?....

And my sweetheart laughs and says we didnt split up and that was

Sharon....and they are like WOW!

Or when you go snorkling in Hawaii and can get on and off the boat

with out a crane....

Or when walking thru the entire China Town in San Francisco, you

decide to walk thru Little Italy and then all the way up 1o million

stairs to Coit tower and dont even bat an eye or hypervenalate or

anything exept maybe a little vertigo....

Or when you walk down the isle of an airplane and you dont see terror

on the guys face who has an empty seat by him...

and you dont even think about having to ask for a seatbelt extender,

or worry about using the bathroom...well maybe except for the slight

odor that you might happen to cause....lol

Man , I could go on and on.... lol

Hi Sharon!

I love the one about your hubby getting the bad news about the two

of you splitting up! That's too funny!

And wow! You did more in San Francisco than I think I would have

been able to do. I still do get pretty tuckered taking lots of

stairs. But, at least it's not a burning pain in my lungs anymore.

I'll be driving up on the 10th for the support meeting with

from the group. Will everyone be meeting at 's again for a

snack/meal before the meeting? If so, could you give me directions

to where it's at now? I'd love to see you, Jo, and anyone else who

can join us there! We might even make it to the basque restaurant

afterwards. It all depends on how tired I am. Since I'll have

someone riding with me, I think I'll be able to manage it, though.

Hi Tracey

I cant wait to see you again! Yep, s is a must for all us old

timers. The last 2 meetings it has been pretty scarce but a few of

us still go.

Then Woolgrowers afterwards is a definate must.....

To get to s you take the same road the hospital is on like

before but go accross the freeway and the first street, turn right

and follow the freeway up 2 blocks and the new s is on the left.

I will email you my cell number as my directions suck...sorry

I can get there , just cant tell you how! LOL
