Guest guest
haw! got'cha rebecca (lol), aiad stands for Autoimmune Inner Ear Disease, sometimes refered to a imied ....guess that one........give up? Immune Mediated Inner Eard esease. sometimes also refered to as " sudden hearing loss " ...shl? i have never really understood the difference, maybe there isn't any, between aiad and imied. i see them used interchangeably. autoimmunity can attack any organ, so the ears are no exception. remember rush lambaw (sp)? i just had my hearing test today at work. i know i flunked :-( i use the " class of.... " to indicate the year i was dx'ed. jeff, aiad or imied and tinnitus, class of 1999 cd, class of 2001 pg, class of 2002 > > Hi Jeff, > OK, I'm guessing it's " autoimmune a_____ disease " . > But what does the " a " stand for? > Love, > > idiopathic EN '68 > > PS: I like the " class of " , the year being when we were " enrolled " . >

Guest guest
OK, Jeff, I thought maybe you meant " Auto Immune Auditory Disease " . Then the abbreviation would work :-) Talk about " blonde week " , I think I am having a " blonde life " . I hear that when you go into Menopause you develop Menopausal Attention Deficit Disorder, or MADD. anyway, I call it that whenever I misplace anything--which is really unsual for me. It's supposed to subside in a couple yrs. It's weird to be so distracted all of a sudden. Guess that's something you and the males here won't need to deal with, except maybe vicariously through your wives. :-/ Love,

Guest guest
Hello Rebbecca, I've not heard that about menopause yet. It must be my year of catching that then lol. I always feel I have to really concentrate to remember things. You should see me at work, I end up going in circles in my small little box where I work lol.
