WOW, Elle! It really is a wonderous thing isn't it?

The freedom that this surgery can give us is such a blessing! I

remember not being able to walk to my mailbox, or being so tired by

the time I walked to the driveway that I couldn't drive at all, a

shopping trip left me sleeping for 2 days as well. I can relate to

the fantastic way it feels to be free again and it is so amazing to

see and feel the difference now almost 2 years post-op.

I have followed your story since I joined this group over 2 years ago

and what a journey you have traveled! You are such an inspiration for

us all! I am so glad you posted these thoughts for us...it is so

special to share these moments with others, especially those who are

feeling frustrated and discouraged.....you help to spread the message

of hope and the tale of freedom, and the DS has given so many of us

both of these!

Thank you for sharing these words!

I needed a reminder to be grateful today!

Elle

Thank you for sharing your reflections. It made me feel grateful

for my own improved mobility. I made me proud of my wonderful DS

sister.

Happy Happy Day!!!! to you Elle.

Because of this and many other things you and I can do now...

Well that is what makes us successes, even tho we have fallen short

of our goals and expectations.

thank you, my hobbit friend for the reminder!

huge hugs to you
