Guest guest
I wanted to take this opportunity to let all of you know that Christmas is a year long event in my opinion. It's about giving. It's about loving. It's about caring. Christmas isn't shiny wrapping paper and fancy bows. It isn't expensive gifts and it isn't overloaded gift cards from the big department stores. It isn't stuffed inside a 15 pound turkey and it isn't poured over the Christmas pudding. It isn't about removing the word " Christmas " from greetings and school concerts and Christmas songs in order to circumvent offending our non-Christian friends. Hey, I wouldn't expect Jewish people to change anything about Hannukah and I wouldn't expect African American people to change anything about Kwanzaa or Muslim people to change anything about Eid. As much as the marketing gurus of the world would like people to believe that it's all about spending the most money in the shortest time, deep in our hearts, we all know better. The holiday season is a time to slow down and reflect on the importance of being a member of the human race. And so for those who are part of Secret Society, I sincerely and genuinely wish each and every one of you and your families all the best during this Holiday Season. May your heart's desire be fulfilled. Raven Co-Administrator
