Guest guest
I have heard a lot of complaints from folks who have had RAI. If your thyroid disease is auto-immune, such as Graves or Hashi, RAI can promote thyroid eye disease. You are also leaving necrotic tissue in your body, which can leave you more vulnerable to other auto-immune diseases. >> ANy advicw before I take RAI next week. I have alsways been hypo, now I am hyper with "hot" thyroid, lots of hyper symptoms. My choices were surgery or RAI. I am thinking RAI, but would like the input of those who have done either method. Thanks!!>

Guest guest
Have you had a thyroid sonogram? Most nodules will show up on a sonogram. Do you have any difficulty breathing or swallowing? A lump in the throat? > >> > ANy advicw before I take RAI next week. I have alsways been hypo, now I am > >hyper with "hot" thyroid, lots of hyper symptoms. My choices were surgery or > >RAI.
