Guest guest
What do you guys do when your BPD family member has not been told by a therapist they have BPD but you know they do. For instance, my nada's PREVIOUS therapist, when I came in on the session, only took 2 times and that therapist figured out what was going on. She told me she brought me in WAAAY too soon. But she did not tell me what was going on. I thought it all weird and started searching on the Internet. At first I was thinking nada fit narcissistic personality then ran into BPD and it fit to a T. I called that therapist and asked if she had ever heard of BPD. She said, " Yes, I am seriously considering diagnosing your mother as Axis II disorder " Was not sure what that meant until I looked up Axis II disorders. NOw my nada is going around getting letters from previous day hospital saying she does not have BPD (supposedly - she has forged things before) and tells daughter she is going to give her the phone number to that previous therapist so she can call hre and find out from her she does not have BPD. Nada continues to take over the entire homeschool community daughter and I had been involved with getting all the teen girls to come over and shave what used to be my daughter's miniature horses. She just had to go interrupt my daughter's bible class tonight to get her out alone to tell her 2 of her friends came over to help shave the horses. I am NOT going back to her craziness. Nada just keeps doing things to tick me off and I guess I need to write a note to her saying " I am not ready to be in contact with you and you will not be hearing from me. " My duaghter really misses her miniature horses and can't take them to show any more. Obviously nada has chalked up every time, minute, and breath she spent on my and my daughter and presented it to everyone as " see howmuch I have done a; they treat me like this " bit. I think she needs to be real alone for a looong time before she ever figures anything out. Theresa
