Guest guest
Is there a specific reason why you are taking your vitamin D separate from your multi? I take my vitamin D and multi at lunch. I take my omega 3 with breakfast and dinner. But, I do not think there would be a problem with taking it with lunch either. In my experience few doctors know much about nutritional supplements. I found that working with a knowledgeable nutritionist (until I found a clueful doctor) really helped in determining what supplements I really need. Of course, you should always provide that information and discuss with your doctor. But, again, since most know little about nutrition, if they suggest the supplements are not necessary, telling them that you have worked with a nutritionist often is enough to get them to back down. In considering whether to take magnesium, you might want to review this article:http://thyroid.about.com/b/2005/05/26/what-you-need-to-know-about-the-benefits-of-magnesium.htm It is one of the supplements that made a huge difference for me and I wish I had known about it much sooner. I had severe nightime leg cramps (and eye twitching) that totally went away when I started taking magnesium. In addition, it had a huge positive impact on my TMJ. I had high blood pressure when I was 23 (I now get gold stars for my BP) and I had pre-eclampsia with my first child so I was likely deficient for a very long time. And, it's extremely important for your heart (which is a big muscle). B. It is sustained release, though.Susie

Guest guest
Does everyone take their magnesium separate from potassium? There are many kinds of potassium-magnesium supplements, but I was told to take them separately. I take potassium during the day, and magnesium at night. Sure put an end to the leg cramps I have had all my life. Joyce
