Yet the other day we had a 14 yr. old young lady join and now your daughter who is even younger. You are correct that EN can return. I've had EN for 37 yrs. myself with remissions. I am considered to be idiopathic as no cause has ever been found, and except for EN I too am pretty healthy. Describe your erythema nodosum/PG symptoms or, if you do not have EN or PG, please explain why you wish to join this group: They started up what looked to me and my family like boils, after 1 week of hot pads and black jack mum took me back to the Local Clinic and was then seen by our local GP, Dr. Marten Muis, he then referred me to the RDH for blood test and chest xray. Xray and blood test all clear, still the swelling grew larger and larger, when the left leg started clearing (3weeks) the right leg started with the first one above the knee, the left leg by this stage started peeling because my skin stretched so much. I had my lumps for close to 5 weeks.6. List any other health conditions.Nil- I take vitamins (centrum) and have done so for 2 years. I am physical and healthy. 7. State what medications or treatments you take for EN, and their effectiveness:They first gave me Quartazone (don’t know how to spell it) for 3 days (just recently) and now I have to take this other stuff for 1 month start with A, don’t know what it is called.8. When did you first get erythema nodosum or PG?2 Weeks before school holidays.9. How long have you had erythema nodosum or PG?Almost 5 weeks. All bruising now10.
