I wouldn't be surprised if it was discovered that the disorders are

one and the same with the only difference being the person's stage in

life.

With aluminum being a major factor in Alzheimer's, it would be

interesting if there were a survey done of how many Alzheimer's

patients were also flu shot recipients as flu shots are pushed so

strongly on the elderly...

I can tell you that my brother-in-law has AD. Zurama I think you are right on the money with your comment about

these disorders being possibly one in the same but occurring at

different stages of development. This is exactly how I feel. We

have alzheimers and parkinsons in our family.

This is why I am working to get better habits in place for my family,

not just my affected son.

The flu shot contains mercury and the pneumonia shot

they are pushing these days contains a lot of

aluminum. Of course, mercury and aluminum togehter is

even more deadly!

I worry about my parents all the time. Specially my dad who doesn't

have very good memory to begin with and it was his dad who died of

Alzheimers. They both have been getting the flu shots every year for

years, without paying any attention to my pleads to stop.

Looking at all Mickie's pictures the image of my grandfather has come

back to hunt me.

My mom will rant and rave sometimes about how absent minded my dad has

become and it scares me to death. I finally told her that it could be

serious, but they don't want to listen. They do eat healthy and this

year they did not get vaccinated. My dad is taking Fish oils and a few

other supplements, so I'm hopeful that he won't end up like his father.

Hopefully the fish oils are mercury free.

Magnesium malate is meant to help displace aluminum out of the body.

You might want to look into it.

He got his fish oils at Cosco. How does one know if the fish oils

contain mercury? I never thought about this before.

As a start I would ask the company that puts them out if they know

exactly what is in their product.

As an example, Nordic Naturals claim their products are pharmaceutical

grade, molecularly distlilled, and third party tested for levels of

heavy metals, dioxins, and PCBs.

If you feel ill after taking the oil, then maybe something is wrong. I

have experience that myself and I know of others who have had the same

experience with certain brands of oils.

My mother in law went to a seminar on Alzheimers disease. She is a

pharmasist. She was learning about new drugs that will be used based on

the following study. Now with autism, I have always found calcium and

oxalates an issue. As some of you may know my boys made dramatic

improvements with diet change. (For months they ate only fruits, meats

and some vegetables.) Prior to autism they were huge milk

drinkers....remember, milk it does a body good. Well as we were on our

journey, we introduced a calcium supplements and my boys began to

decline. We removed it and the boys started to improve again. Now we

only added on food at a time and one supplement at a time once we found

about 8 foods the boys could eat with no regression in behaviour. I

know some people have much luck with chelation and others don't. I

also know that chelation does pull minerals, including calcium. We have

not done chelation except for a round or two with ALA. We have however,

avoided calcium. We even went to reverse osmosis to clean up our water.

It also removes calcium. Our calcium now comes from bioavailable

sources through fruits, meat and eggs. I know there are protocols to

help with calcium absorption but we have done that yet because I sort

of want to clean up the excess calcium that is floating around in my

boys body and stuck in their brain where it doesn't belong. I actually

saw a youtube video of a surgery of a child that had calcium in their

pancreas. I really think that calcium plays a huge roll in this. It is

not the cause but the malabsorption issue our kids have sure lead me to

believe that calcium is not the easy on our kids. I think of my taps

from our hard water and the spots on our dishes after they go through

the dishwasher. Anyway, read the following and tell me what you

think. When my mother in law shared this with me, I knew that the

calcium thing is a huge factor. I know Tamaro from the

vitamin K group, advises against using calcium supplements for our

kids. We even stopped the multivitamin with it in it. Our DAN has

agreed with this and is going to do some follow up testing to see how

the boys are fairing vitamin-wise.
