Guest guest
Hi Sue I know exactly how you feel. It seems like one medication after another or one doctor after another. It's funny when you go in and you can tell the doctor what your kid has and needs and then they confirm your right. And the cost believe me I know that one, we don't have insurance and we also have 2 that are getting IVIG and a different prescription it seems every week. Wish I could give you some suggestions but I can't, they only thing I can do is relate to what your going through. Guest guest
Sue.. Before my son (12) was diagnosed at age 5, we had one year that our medical expenses were in excess of $100,000.00. Medication was 400.00 per month and we had 8 doctors. Now we have two doctors and IVIG. Don't give up and know you are not alone. Everyone here is so supportive and you will learn so much from being here. Thanks for joining us.. Guest guest
Sue, Just a comment on the amount of money spent on prescriptions. In one year we spent almost 8,000.00 on copayments and over the counter meds. We would never have realized this if our tax preparer had not added it up and informed us that we could get a credit for this.
