Guest guest
Hi, me again I was wondering if anyone has the same sleep problem I do. It could be a CFS problem, I don't know. I have days (about once every 4 - 6 days) where I have so much problems staying awake! I will get a really good nights sleep, and staying awake for the rest of the day is almost impossible. I give up by mid-afternoon and just let it happen. I get a good nights sleep, then the next day, it is sorta OK, but not like the day before. It is easier to stay awake. Any ideas what is wrong my learned friends? TTFN Alan Impossible done straight away -Miracles, I need 10 minutes
Guest guest
You need to have a sleep study. You may have obstructive sleep apnea. If so, you need a CPAP machine so you can breathe better while you are asleep. Maxine Alan wrote: I was wondering if anyone has the same sleep problem I do. It could be a CFS problem, I don't know. Guest guest
Hi Alan, I can't tell you what's wrong but I have the same type of problem. I do not get restful sleep at night even with sleep medication. By the afternoon driving home I'm hit with the most intense fatigue. I have found myself drifting off at times. I pull over and walk around a bit and it seems to lift a bit. Sometimes even before I leave my classroom I've found myself drifting off if I sit down to do some prep work in my classroom. It's awful and can be scary. I'll be looking to see if anyone posts some causes or remedies. Kathleen in Calif.
Guest guest
For a long time I was always tired. I'd wake many times during the night. Sometimes I'd be able to go right back to sleep, other times I'd be up for a while. I'd fall asleep waiting for the bus, reading, even at the computer. Last year I was tested for sleep apnea. Sleep apnea is when a person stops breathing in their sleep, wakes up to catch their breath, then goes back to sleep only to stop breathing again. The results were positive. I got an interesting aparatus with a mask that I wear at night that keeps my airway open. Now I wake maybe once or twice to go to the bathroom. And am not so tired during the day, rarely so much that I fall asleep in public or when I'm doing something. One possibility. Jana
