I've had this happen a few times and my eye doc said if it happens again she's going to order some tests - i can't remember what for - but she said it is usually nothing but can be a sign of some other issue - blood pressure was one of them i think...

Re: Enteropathic Arthritis

Thanks for the effort, . This is an interesting site but not the one I was remembering which specifically spoke of enteropathic arthritis. I'll try searching the messages at the site too, though I doubt I'll be able to do better than you have done. Thanks again.

Sometimes URLs stop being supported. I posted anotherlink that explains enteropathic arthritis:http://www.emedicine.com/med/topic3098.htm

I think the above could be what happened, as this is not the one I remember BUT it is a very good link! I appreciate your efforts to help me with this SO much! It's interesting in that it says arthritis developed following the jejunoileal bypass (intestinal) could be reversed by reversing the surgery is certainly not true at least in one case I know of. The poor lady had the bypass reversed and now she has both rheumatoid arthritis AND is morbidly obese--not a happy combination at all. In fact I'd describe her as barely alive!

I read something somewhere maybe here Im not sure, but it was about flax oil.... is that something I should take for one of my conditions.....

I know I wrote about using flax seed oil for my severe dry eyes and it works. It was an ophthalmologist who directed me to use it, about a tablespoon a day/or 6-8 capsules. It really really works for that. What it does is reduce inflammation. I haven't noticed a lot of relief in my sore joints, though, but the flax seed oil sure can't hurt to try.
