Guest guest
Hi ,The symptom that most concerned me were the genetal ulcers. I've had EN for 37 yrs., and some on this group have had EN for even longer. Except for EN I too am in pretty good health, and even better than many my age (58) who don't have EN. I know first hand about depression too. I used to have it for weeks at at a time. Lots of mental illness in my family on my Mom's side. She was a manic-depressive (now called bi-polar) schizophrenic paranoid type. I feared I would become like her. But I never did. I took a self-hypnosis course called YMI and learned how to "clean up" the effects of past negative experiences. After a 2 hr. session, I was told I would never experience depression again. I didn't believe my teacher, Jim Huffsteckler [bless that Dear Man] but he was right. It has been over 30 yrs since I have experienced depression. I have not been able to locate him. [i don't know if he is still living either.] I think he may have returned to Chicago. His training is no longer offered to my knowledge. But what I am saying is that depression can be dealt with. There are probably other ways besides the one Jim devised that work. Also worry with good reason is normal. It seems that the rheumys are pretty good doctors as there are about 100 known types of arthritis and they deal with many rare disorders. Look at some of the different disorders rheumy's are familiar with including Bechet's disease.Let us know what your rheumy says. Love, You can help Erythema Nodosum Research.
