Guest guest
Awhile ago I posted asking for help with migraines and it MAY be premature but I'm going to tell you about my success with acupuncture. So far I have had 3 treatments and my migraines have been much more infrequent; in fact, I have only had one in the past 4 weeks or so which is a significant improvement for me. If anyone is interested I can give you the name of my acupuncturist. Thanks, Kelle
Guest guest
Hi Kelle, I second that vote for the acupuncture treatment, although I was making so many changes in my life at the same time, I am not sure where the true credit lies. I suffered severe debilitating migraines for years; one lasted for three months requiring two and three trips to the ER a week for injections ( the car rides weren't a picnic either, having to stop and puke in people's yards on the way - sorry, I hope no one is eating). Anyway, besides the migraines, I had been diagnosed with fibromyalgia. My acupuncturist did the needle treatments, spinal manipulations AND I think the most significant: got me to change my diet!!!! No more migraines, no more muscle pain, lots more energy...I had been using 4X the recommended dose of Tramadol and 12 to 16 Advil a day. I've probably taken Advil only twice in 10 months. The confidence I gained from the freedom from pain, helped me leave a bad relationship (previously mentioned, the one whose favorite restaurant was Old Country Bufffet.) In the end, no matter where the freedom comes from we have to celebrate it - so I celebrate with you! Kelle
